RESPONSIBILITIES
· Assisting in treating the evaluations created by OT and providing appropriate treatment to reach goals for residents
· Continued support of goal achievement
· Helping patients in their restoration of wellness and independence
· Communication with other personnel involved in the patient’s care to promote a coordinated care plan
· The application of various therapeutic techniques to help achieve goals
REQUIREMENTS
· Graduate of an Occupational Therapy Assistant curriculum approved by the American Occupational Therapy Associates
· Certified as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state of Pennsylvania
· Long-term care experience preferred
