MRC is seeking an encouraging Occupational Therapy Assistant to help older adults strengthen the skills they use every day. Under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will translate care plans into practical, meaningful activities that support independence and quality of life.

What You’ll Do

• Provide occupational therapy services under the direction and supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Carry out individualized treatment plans that support daily living skills, mobility, coordination, safety, and independence.
• Teach residents practical techniques for transfers, movement, self-care, and other functional activities.
• Assist with therapeutic activities and the safe use of adaptive equipment, lifts, pulleys, and other approved tools.
• Observe and record resident progress, participation, behavior, and response to treatment.
• Communicate resident changes and recommend treatment-plan adjustments to the supervising therapist.
• Educate residents and families on home programs, basic living skills, and the care and use of adaptive equipment.
• Complete treatment documentation accurately and on time.
