Chief Compliance Officer (UAE)

Own the compliance agenda end-to-end, ensuring readiness for VARA expectations, ongoing supervision, and scalable controls as volumes grow. Serve as VARA's day-to-day interface, establish regulator credibility, connect Dubai market realities with Coins.ph leadership, and build a strong compliance foundation during expansion.

Responsibilities

• Own the compliance agenda end-to-end, including VARA readiness, ongoing supervision, and scalable controls
• Operate as VARA's day-to-day interface
• Establish credibility with VARA and support regulatory engagement
• Connect Dubai market realities with Coins.ph leadership and international expansion priorities
• Build momentum quickly from a standing start
• Balance commercial pace with regulatory credibility and control integrity

Requirements

• Senior compliance leader resident in the UAE with 5+ years of relevant experience
• Hands-on experience in regulated financial services environments involving VASP, fintech, or payments
• Ability to operate as the primary regulator interface
• Prior UAE regulatory engagement experience preferred
• Ability to be accepted as a Responsible Individual
• Strong judgment, confidence, and comfort working in ambiguity
