WCMHS is seeking a Child Care Interventionist who plays a vital role in shaping the growth, resilience, and well-being of children in care. By providing hands-on support, guiding social-emotional development, and creating a safe and nurturing environment, this role directly influences children’s ability to thrive, build confidence, and develop essential skills for lifelong success. Working closely with clinicians, staff, and families, the Child Care Interventionist ensures that every child receives the guidance and encouragement needed to reach their full potential.

Summary of Duties

• Provide direct, on-site support to children, implementing daily programs that meet developmental, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Observe, assess, and document children’s behavior, progress, and individual needs to guide interventions and program adjustments
• Support social-emotional development, coping skills, and positive behavior through trauma-informed strategies and guidance
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and structured environment that complies with licensing and organizational policies
• Collaborate with clinicians, staff, and families to coordinate care plans, communicate progress, and reinforce strategies at home
• Assist in planning and leading developmentally appropriate activities that foster cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth
• Participate in professional development, team meetings, and program planning to ensure continuous improvement and best practices

The pay range for this position is $22.34 - $23.48 per hour.
