Position - chiller Technician (HVAC)
JD-
Key Responsibilities
- Lead installation, testing, commissioning, and servicing of VRF/VRV systems
- Troubleshoot complex refrigeration, electrical, and communication faults
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on VRF systems
- Supervise and guide VRF technicians and helpers on site
- Configure indoor/outdoor units, controllers, and communication wiring
- Handle refrigerant charging, recovery, leak testing, and vacuuming
- Interpret wiring diagrams, piping layouts, and OEM manuals
- Coordinate with site supervisors, engineers, and OEM service teams
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and manufacturer standards
- Prepare service reports, checklists, and technical documentation
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma / ITI in HVAC, Refrigeration, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
- 7–12 years experience in VRF/VRV systems
- Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycles and HVAC controls
- Hands-on experience with major VRF brands (Daikin, Mitsubishi, LG, Toshiba, etc.)
- Advanced electrical and electronic troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and lead teams
Preferred Qualifications
- OEM VRF certification
- Experience with BMS integration
- Commissioning and handover experience
- Safety certifications (LOTO, work at height, etc.)
