China Sales Leader
As the PA Greater China Sales Leader, you will lead the sales organization and commercial execution for Honeywell Process Automation across Greater China. The role is accountable for planning, directing and coordinating sales strategies and activities to deliver AOP commitments, expand market share and strengthen customer relationships across priority industrial segments. You will partner closely with LOB leaders, functions and regional stakeholders to align strategy, execution and customer outcomes in a highly matrixed environment.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy, growth and AOP delivery
- Own and execute the Greater China sales strategy, operating rhythm and growth initiatives aligned with annual operating plan commitments.
- Drive monthly, quarterly and annual financial target delivery through disciplined pipeline management, forecasting, operating reviews and corrective actions.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs and competitor activity to identify high-value opportunities, risks and areas for business improvement.
- Balance short-term performance delivery with long-term strategic growth across multiple markets and customer segments.
Customer and market leadership
- Build influential executive-level relationships with strategic customers, partners and industry stakeholders to create profitable growth opportunities.
- Develop customer strategies, campaign plans and pursuit approaches for large and complex opportunities, including support for major contractual agreements.
- Demonstrate strong commercial and technical understanding of the Greater China process automation market, customer operations and financial drivers.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through proactive engagement, escalation resolution, follow-through and alignment of regional resources.
Sales organization leadership
- Lead, energize and develop a high-performing sales team across direct, virtual and cross-border structures.
- Recruit, train, coach, appraise, motivate and set performance standards for the sales organization.
- Create a culture of accountability, disciplined sales process adoption, continuous improvement and measurable results.
- Manage performance effectively, including prioritization, feedback, development planning and action on underperformance where required.
Collaboration and execution excellence
- Collaborate with LOB leaders, functions and regional teams to integrate information, resources and activities and deliver overall business results.
- Champion sales processes, CRM utilization, value-based selling methodologies, analytical reporting and standard operating cadences.
- Provide leadership for cross-team initiatives, regional communications, employee engagement, senior customer engagement and customer escalation management.
- Contribute as a senior commercial leader to broader business strategy, long-term planning and executive-level decision making.
- Bachelor's degree.
- 15+ years of sales, commercial leadership or general management experience, including senior sales leadership responsibilities.
- Proven experience leading sales teams in Greater China, including virtual, cross-border or matrixed teams.
- Demonstrated track record of delivering revenue growth, AOP commitments and complex commercial outcomes.
- Prior experience closing large, complex contractual agreements and engaging senior customer stakeholders.
- Executive-level credibility with internal and external stakeholders, with strong communication, collaboration and influencing skills.
- Experience with CRM tools and structured strategic selling methodologies such as value-based selling.
- Ability and willingness to travel based on business need, typically up to 50%.
- Deep knowledge of process automation technologies, solutions and lifecycle services relevant to industrial customers.
- Broad understanding of Honeywell products, solutions and customer value propositions across Greater China markets.
- Strategic thinking, business acumen and the ability to translate market insight into executable sales plans.
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to respond quickly to customer needs and escalations.
- Ability to anticipate future trends, learn quickly and adapt approach in complex or uncertain situations.
- Ability to generate novel and valuable ideas that improve processes, systems, offerings or services.
