Key Responsibilities:
- Define and prioritize product features, user stories, and requirements for life insurance applications
- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, development teams, and end users
- Develop and maintain a clear product roadmap aligned with life insurance business objectives
- Gather and analyze feedback from users, stakeholders, and market trends specific to life insurance
- Ensure timely delivery of product increments through agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
- Conduct regular backlog grooming, sprint planning, and review sessions
- Monitor product performance and user adoption, recommending enhancements as needed
- Champion best practices in user experience, accessibility, and security for life insurance applications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field
- 4+ years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role, with direct experience in life insurance products
- Proven track record in developing end user-facing digital products
- Strong understanding of agile product development methodologies
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to translate life insurance business needs into technical requirements
- Deep understanding of life insurance products, processes, and regulatory requirements
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar
- Familiarity with life insurance underwriting, claims, policy administration, and compliance
- UX/UI sensibility and experience working with design teams
