What You’ll Do:
As a Civil Engineer, you’ll work closely with project managers and multi-disciplinary teams to design and deliver infrastructure projects that keep communities moving.
- Perform and review advanced engineering calculations for roadway and transportation projects
- Conduct field surveys, site investigations, and substantial completion audits
- Develop scalable and detailed plans, profiles, and design drawings using AutoCAD, MicroStation, and civil engineering design tools
- Assist in proposal and work plan development, as well as project coordination, budgeting, and scheduling
- Respond to RFIs, review submittals, edit specifications, and contribute to accurate cost estimates
- Participate in QA/QC reviews and ensure quality standards throughout all project phases
- Attend client and internal team meetings to define project goals and support construction-phase services
- Stay up to date with the latest DOT regulations, design standards, and best practices in transportation engineering
