Class 1 HGV Driver
The role
We are looking for a number of LGV Class 1 Drivers to support our operations based out of our E3 warehouse in South Elmsall, Pontefract and our DVP warehouse in Dearne Valley, Rotherham.
Base salary of £18.05 per hour. We also pay additional premium rates* , weekly overtime x1.3 and rest day working of x1.5 plus you’ll be part of our Driver bonus scheme
What you’ll take on
You’ll be a part of our critical distribution operation
- Transporting clothing and homeware products to our stores.
- Adopt a ‘Safety First’ mindset where nothing is placed over the safety of yourself, the public or your colleagues.
- Most shifts operate on a 5 days out of 7 which includes 2 full weekends in 10 and some other weekend days.
We have multiple shifts available:
Elmsall Band A starts between 02:50 and 06:30 (42 hours)
Elmsall Band B starts between 06:30 and 11:00 (42 hours)
Elmsall Band C starts between 11:00 and 17:00 (45 hours)
Elmsall Band D starts between 17:01 and 21:29 (45 hours)
Elmsall Band E starts between 21:30 and 01:59 (45 hours)
Dearne Band C starts between 10:30 and 17:00 (45 hours)
What you’ll bring
- Class 1 C+E license holders with a CPC card
- Minimum of 1 year Class 1 HGV driving experience including the coupling and uncoupling of trailers
- Maximum of 6 points on license and no convictions or disqualifications.
Successful applicants will receive 2 days of training from a Driver Development Coach (DDC) and will be aligned to a Manager to provide any additional support required outside of their training alongside any support provided by the DDC.

Friday Night (22:00-06:00) £22.40 per hour
Saturday Night (22:00-06:00) £25.40 per hour
