Client Coordinator (32441)
ExamWorks is looking for a Client Coordinator to join our team onsite!
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a busy office, is a people person and has a friendly phone demeanor. You’ll handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, documenting or taking information towards the fulfillment of our services, working with claimants and attorneys. Prior CSR experience is applicable for this role and does not need to be industry specific, although experience working with attorneys or insurance services does help.
Our work hours are from Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm. This is on onsite role, located at our Woodbury, NY location.
We offer a competitive pay of $20-22 per hour depending on experience, plus overtime opportunities, with benefits (medical, vision, dental), paid time off, and 401k.

What do we do? ExamWorks is a growing and profitable leading provider of innovative healthcare services including independent medical examinations, peer reviews, bill reviews, Medicare compliance, case management, record retrieval, document management, and related services. Our clients include property and casualty insurance carriers, law firms, third-party claim administrators, and government agencies that use independent services to confirm the veracity of claims by sick or injured individuals under automotive, disability, liability and workers' compensation insurance coverages.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handle outgoing phone calls updating claimants and attorney’s appointment status and documenting the system appropriately.
- Handle and respond promptly to inquiries from claimants and attorney’s regarding questions, appointment status, concerns, or general requests.
- Utilize appropriate systems and databases to access case information.
- Maintain daily contact phone department regarding workflow and pending status.
- Contact providers for assignment and update database.
- Verify all information is current in the database and all client specific guidelines and or rules or information is documented in the system.
- Work independently and in partnership with other team members to ensure that questions are addressed, documented and cases are returned in a timely fashion.
- Direct calls to other departments as needed.
- Perform various clerical duties such as typing, filing, emailing, and proofreading.
- Notify management of any report issues or concerns.
- Ensure all practices are carried out in accordance with state and federal safety and legal regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
