At TÜV SÜD, the Client Services Representative & Sales Development serves as a key point of contact for clients and prospects throughout the customer lifecycle. In this role, you will coordinate customer inquiries, support a positive client experience, qualify and route sales leads, and work closely with Sales, Marketing, and internal support teams to strengthen customer retention and generate qualified sales opportunities.
Your Tasks
- Evaluate and qualify inbound leads based on customer needs, level of interest, budget, and alignment with TÜV SÜD products and services.
- Engage prospects through phone, email, web chat, LinkedIn, and other communication channels, and route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales representative for timely follow-up.
- Coordinate communication between prospects, customers, and Sales to support smooth handoffs and progression throughout the sales process.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams on lead generation, conversion activities, customer feedback, and improvements to the overall customer journey.
- Serve as a liaison for customer inquiries related to scheduling, invoices, certificates, report verification, and other service needs by connecting customers with the appropriate internal teams.
- Maintain accurate lead, opportunity, customer interaction, and sales activity information within CRM systems while supporting pipeline tracking, documentation, and reporting.
- Provide responsive, accurate, and professional customer support while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in a technical or engineering sales environment supporting leads, opportunities, customer interactions, or sales activities through a CRM system.
- Experience working with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, Zoho CRM, or similar systems.
- Working knowledge of sales pipeline management and lead qualification processes, with the ability to learn and communicate technical products and services to prospective and existing customers.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word, along with strong data-entry, documentation, and reporting skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication, customer service, organizational, and collaboration skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities, adapt to changing business needs, and work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Additional Information
- The annual base salary for this position is $64,000, with eligibility for a 10% annual bonus.
- Some domestic travel may be required, up to 20%. International travel may also be required with advance notice.
- This position primarily uses standard office and communication equipment, including a computer, telephone, printer, copier, and scanner.
- The role requires frequent communication by telephone, email, and other communication tools and may involve extended periods of sitting and computer use.
