Childhelp is a psychiatric residential treatment facility that specializes in the treatment of children aged 5-14 with mild to severe trauma or neglect, psychiatric disorders, and neurodevelopmental disorders. Our unique location on a 270-acre farm provides a nurturing treatment setting with a variety of therapy resources. We bring the light of love and healing into the lives of countless abused and neglected children, and those suffering from psychiatric and behavioral disorders. Compensation Range: $85,000 per year. Negotiable, with experience/education/license.

What you will do: A day in the life of a Clinical Director at Childhelp, The Alice C. Tyler Village is rarely the same, HARD WORK, EXCITING, IMPACTFUL, and very REWARDING. The Clinical Director is a primary member of the Site Management and Treatment Committees.
- Maintain a caseload of up to three clients.
- Identify weekly group themes and therapeutic activities.
- Provide clinical coverage for therapists as needed during staff call-outs.
- Provide supervision and support to the clinical and case management teams.
- Oversee the clinical care and treatment needs of all clients while staying informed of relevant client information and progress.
- Review treatment plans at least every 28 days prior to treatment team meetings to ensure documentation is current, accurate, and complete.
- Review and approve therapy notes to ensure documentation meets clinical standards and requirements.
- Review and approve discharge summaries within 24 hours of client discharge.
- Serve as the clinical point of contact for mental health emergencies and crises through phone-based on-call support.
- Provide clinical leadership and guidance to the treatment team.
- Ensure clinicians are implementing evidence-based practices and delivering quality therapeutic interventions.
- Work collaboratively with the Program Director, who is also a trained clinician, to support overall program operations and clinical excellence.
- Participate in daily and weekly leadership meetings.
- Communicate important clinical updates, expectations, and needs with the clinical team and interdisciplinary partners.

Oversee and coordinate off-campus passes, including reviewing requests, ensuring clinical appropriateness, communicating expectations with the interdisciplinary team, and supporting safe and successful community integration opportunities for clients.

Other clinical tasks as assigned.
To be considered you should:
- Be at least 21 years of age
- VA License required; LPC-S, LCSW-S, or LMFT-S
- Master’s degree required
- At least 5 years prior experience working with children in a residential setting
- Be able to pass a background screening, drug test, and physical
- Have a passion to work with and help children
Schedule/hours/shifts: Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts, Occasional Weekends
