Description

Mō te tūranga | About the opportunity

As Clinical Manager you will be a pivotal member of our senior leadership team, as we work together to foster a care delivery culture that supports our Arvida values and purpose.

Village at the Park is in the heart of Wellington and, alongside a range of independent living options, offers a mix of rest home, hospital-level and specialised dementia care.

Unlike traditional care, Arvida's household model creates an environment that feels more like a home than a facility. We believe aged care is about supporting people to live well, every day. And our resident-led approach means we focus on what matters most to each person.

At Arvida, our Clinical Managers are responsible for leading clinical excellence within their community. This includes managing clinical risk, preparing and overseeing audits, planning and executing effective continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring the wider team delivers appropriate and individualised care. You will also be responsible for operational oversight of the clinical team including rosters, recruitment, and budgeting.

If you are passionate about measurable and meaningful care that aligns with regulatory obligations and best practice, and enjoy leading and mentoring a committed team, this is the opportunity for you.

This is a full time role working 40 hours across Monday to Friday (with some on-call requirements during evening and weekends).

  • Excellent teamwork, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.

Above all else you will have the opportunity to work in a purpose-led environment where you can truly make a difference – in the lives of New Zealanders and in your own career.

Be sure to include a cover letter (within the 'Message to the Hiring Team' section on our application form) that outlines your fit for this role and desire to lead resident-focused outcomes.
