Clinical Support (LPN or CMA) HIMG - Oncology- (Full Time) - 7317

St. Mary’s Medical Center seeks a full-time CMA or LPN to work in the HIMG - Oncology Department. The position will maintain a high quality of effectiveness and will provide assistance as necessary to co-workers and patients through an office oriented environment Candidates should anticipate a high volume of in-person and telephone interaction with patients, employees and co-workers. As such a pleasant personality is essential for this position.

Applicants will be expected to maintain a professional demeanor and positively represent the Hospital at all times.

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Accurately and thoroughly document medical visits and procedures as they are being performed by the physician.
• Answering phones & Making appointments
• Greeting & interacting with patients & customers
• Initial patient screenings
• Pulling and filing patient charts
• Taking blood pressure & medical histories
• Assisting doctors
• Calling or faxing prescriptions
