We are supporting a high-profile NZ client in the supply of an additional Cloud DevOps Engineer to supplement their Auckland team.
In this role, you can expect to sit across operations, service delivery and continuous improvement activities. This includes engineering, automating, monitoring, and supporting cloud and hybrid platforms, as well as owning technical problems through diagnosis, remediation, and root-cause analysis.
Additionally, this role will see you designing and maintaining secure CI/CD pipelines and reusable Infrastructure as Code, monitoring cloud consumption, maintaining documentation, as well as leading and supporting controlled proof of concepts and production adoption of new capabilities.

What you'll bring
- At least four years of Azure cloud experience
- Strong hands-on skills in Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC), including Terraform
- Strong knowledge of Azure networking, including Virtual Networks, subnets, routing, DNS, and network security controls
- Experience with Azure Front Door, Content Delivery Network (CDN), and Application Gateway
- Experience deploying, configuring, securing, and supporting Azure Virtual Machines
- Experience with Microsoft Entra ID application management, Conditional Access policies, and secure secret management
- Strong understanding of Azure RBAC, access reviews, privileged access, and permission management.
