About the role | He kōrero whakamārama mō tēnei tūranga

Reporting to the Team Leader – Cloud and Connectivity, this hands-on technical role is responsible for supporting and enhancing NZ Health Group's cloud and infrastructure platforms. You'll work closely with internal teams and technology partners to deliver secure, reliable and scalable solutions while contributing to key projects and operational excellence across our Microsoft cloud environment. this is a full time permanent position working Monday to Friday 830am to 5pm and can be based in Auckland or Wellington. We will consider locations outside of these area's for the right candidate

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and maintain Azure, Microsoft 365, server and network environments.
  • Investigate and resolve complex technical issues and escalations.
  • Work with vendors and service providers to deliver technical solutions.
  • Assist with cloud migrations, infrastructure upgrades and platform improvements.
  • Support security, monitoring, patching and operational best practices.
  • Contribute to automation and scripting initiatives.
  • Participate in projects and continuous improvement activities.

What you will bring | Ngā tohungatanga mō tēnei tūranga

  • Experience supporting Microsoft Azure and cloud-based technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365 and networking.
  • Experience with PowerShell or other scripting tools.
  • Knowledge of Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online and virtualisation technologies.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • A collaborative approach and a passion for delivering great customer outcomes.

Most importantly, you're a team player who enjoys learning, takes ownership and is motivated by solving challenging technical problems.
