Cloud Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure. You will play a key role in building scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions that support our applications and business operations. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with major cloud platforms, strong automation skills, and a passion for solving complex infrastructure challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline application deployment and infrastructure updates.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and cost, implementing improvements as needed.
• Implement and enforce cloud security best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and network security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and connectivity issues across development, staging, and production environments.
• Automate manual processes to improve operational efficiency (using scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
• Collaborate with software development, DevOps, and security teams to support application architecture and deployment needs.
• Manage containerized workloads using Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
• Maintain documentation for cloud architecture, configurations, and operational procedures.
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to incidents to ensure system reliability.
• Evaluate new cloud services and tools to improve performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Support disaster recovery planning and backup strategies.
