Our esteemed client in the IT industry is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Backend) to join their dynamic team:
- Employment Type: 1-year renewable contract
- Position: Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Backend)
- Location: LTA office
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 6pm
- Salary Package: Basic + Bonus + Medical Benefits
- Design, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud environments and services using tools like Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using cloud-native or third-party tools to automate deployment and infrastructure provisioning.
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot cloud environments to ensure system availability, performance scalability, and disaster recovery readiness.
- Implement cloud security best practices, including Identity and Access Management (IAM), encryption, and network security controls, while ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
- Configure and optimize cloud networking, including traffic routing, connectivity, and overall network performance.
- At least a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure on AWS or other major cloud platforms.
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), particularly Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
- Good understanding of cloud networking, cloud security principles, and security compliance frameworks.
- Experience monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting cloud environments to ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability.
