Our esteemed client in the IT industry is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Backend) to join their dynamic team:

  • Employment Type: 1-year renewable contract
  • Position: Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Backend)
  • Location: LTA office
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 6pm
  • Salary Package: Basic + Bonus + Medical Benefits

Job Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud environments and services using tools like Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
  • Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using cloud-native or third-party tools to automate deployment and infrastructure provisioning.
  • Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot cloud environments to ensure system availability, performance, scalability, and disaster recovery readiness.
  • Implement cloud security best practices, including Identity and Access Management (IAM), encryption, and network security controls, while ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
  • Configure and optimize cloud networking, including traffic routing, connectivity, and overall network performance.

Job Requirements

  • At least a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure on AWS or other major cloud platforms.
  • Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), particularly Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
  • Good understanding of cloud networking, cloud security principles, and security compliance frameworks.
  • Experience monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting cloud environments to ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability.
