Requirements:- Strong commercial experience across Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Microsoft Azure, with GCP as the primary area of expertise
- Proven experience designing, architecting, and delivering secure, scalable cloud solutions within enterprise environments
- Experience building cloud environments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevSecOps principles
- Proven experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerised application deployment
- Strong understanding of cloud security, identity integration, and enterprise security controls
- Experience implementing observability, monitoring, and logging solutions across cloud platforms
- Exposure to AI-enabled technologies, automation tooling, and emerging cloud technologies
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams
- Experience delivering cloud transformation, platform engineering, or innovation-focused initiatives within complex enterprise environments
- Ability to travel to our Manchester or London office 1-2 days per week
- Support our client in designing, building, and evolving a cloud-based innovation platform
- Engineer secure, scalable, and reusable cloud platforms that support innovation initiatives across the business
- Work closely with Architecture, Security, and Product teams to establish cloud engineering standards

We are hiring for a Cloud/Platform Engineer for a 6-month initial contract, operating inside IR35, with a day rate of £625+ per day depending on experience. The role is hybrid, based in Manchester or London with 1-2 days per week onsite, and an ASAP start is required. We are supporting our client in building a cloud-based innovation platform that enables the rapid development and deployment of modern technology solutions. This is a multi-cloud environment with a strong emphasis on Google Cloud Platform, alongside Microsoft Azure, and the role involves close collaboration with Architecture, Security, and Product teams.
