Cloud Security Architect — Pre-Sales Expert

Check Point Software Technologies is seeking a Pre‑Sales Cloud Security Architect to advise enterprise customers on design, deployment and optimization of cloud security across multi‑cloud and hybrid environments.

You will lead demos, PoCs, workshops, and create scalable, secure cloud architectures, collaborating with R&D and global specialists to influence product direction and address strategic opportunities.

Serve as the primary technical expert for cloud security solutions including virtual firewalls, SD‑WAN security, WAF, and DDoS mitigation. Lead technical discovery, architecture design, and solution positioning for enterprise and strategic accounts. Deliver compelling demos, workshops, PoCs, and technical deep dives tailored to customer environments. Translate complex customer requirements into scalable, secure cloud architectures using Check Point technologies. Act as a bridge between customers and R&D, providing structured feedback, feature requests, and insights that influence product direction. Collaborate with global solution specialists to share best practices, develop reusable assets, and support large‑scale opportunities. Support partners and integrators with enablement, architectural guidance, and technical escalation. Stay current with cloud‑native technologies, emerging threats, and industry trends to maintain thought leadership in the field. Contribute to internal knowledge bases, reference architectures, and technical playbooks. Strong understanding of cloud networking architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP) incl Transit Gateway, VPC/VNet design. Deep understanding of firewalling, SD‑WAN, WAF, and DDoS protection concepts. Practical knowledge of containers, Kubernetes, and cloud-native app architectures. Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code, ideally Terraform, for automating deployments. Ability to design secure architectures across hybrid and multi‑cloud environments. Excellent communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences. Proven experience in a pre‑sales, consulting, or customer‑facing role. Strong problem‑solving mindset with strategic and tactical thinking. Experience integrating security solutions with SIEM, SOAR, DevOps, and enterprise observability platforms
