Cloud Senior DevOps Engineer
Summary
Senior DevOps engineer owning end-to-end CI/CD pipelines for applications and ML models, cloud-native infrastructure on Kubernetes and Docker across public/hybrid clouds, observability with Prometheus/Grafana/ELK, and technical leadership during major incidents, plus security and compliance (Zero Trust, SOC2, ISO27001).
About the role
This role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining end-to-end CI/CD pipelines for both software applications and machine learning models. You will automate build, test, deployment, and rollback processes to ensure seamless transitions from innovation to production. You will act as the technical lead during complex system anomalies and major incidents, spearheading rapid troubleshooting and conducting thorough root cause analysis. You will establish and enforce robust system stability and security standards, manage release workflows, implement Zero Trust access controls, and ensure compliance with industry frameworks. You will architect comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to provide deep visibility into system health and application performance. You will champion Infrastructure as Code practices and take ownership of high-availability design in production environments. You will build, optimize, and scale cloud-native infrastructure using Kubernetes and Docker, managing specialized computing resources to support high-performance AI workloads.
Key responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines for software applications and machine learning models
Automate build, test, deployment, and rollback processes
Act as the technical lead during complex system anomalies and major incidents
Spearhead rapid troubleshooting and conduct thorough root cause analysis (RCA)
Implement preventative remediation plans
Establish and enforce robust system stability and security standards
Manage release workflows and implement Zero Trust access controls
Oversee secrets management and ensure compliance with industry frameworks (e.g., SOC2, ISO27001)
Work closely with R&D, Data Science, Security, and Business teams to streamline workflows and eliminate bottlenecks
Architect and refine comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK stack)
About you
Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Cloud Infrastructure roles
Exceptional problem-solving abilities and sharp technical judgment
Excellent cross-team communication skills
Systematic and practical understanding of CI/CD methodologies, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Observability paradigms, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles
Strong coding and scripting capabilities in at least one major language (Go, Python, Shell, etc.)
Proven proficiency in designing and managing infrastructure on major Public or Hybrid Cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure, Alibaba Cloud)
Deep mastery of Docker and Kubernetes orchestration
Expert-level knowledge of Linux operating systems and core networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, Load Balancing, VPCs)
