Cloud Solutions Architect, Senior
ASRC NetCentric is seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect, Senior to support an upcoming DHS program. This is a remote position.
**Position is contingent upon program award.
Summary: The DHS Program will provide professional services to support application analysis, architectural design, engineering, development, maintenance, and support. Work includes implementation of Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, Flow, and Power Business Intelligent (BI)), SharePoint, Office 365, Azure products and Services, Dataverse, Drupal, Confluence, Jira, and ServiceNow. We will provide a team experienced with design, agile software development, project management, technical architecture, engineering and design, continuous integration and delivery, integration, testing, configuration management, ongoing operations and maintenance, and cloud migration.
The Solutions Architect, Senior will Leads solution design across DHS platforms (Microsoft/ServiceNow/modern frameworks/Drupal); develops target/reference architectures; ensures compliance, scalability, and reusability.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for driving multiple customer solution design projects in parallel
Conduct business and technical discovery with customers
Problem solves novel solutions, architectures and use cases to help customers meet their objectives
Provide robust recommendations for engagements while also identifying critical dependencies & gaps
Present proposals to senior government officials in a clear and compelling way
Continuously improve the team’s knowledge, methodologies and inventory of solution design blueprints for key customer segments and classes of use cases.
Experience working in a top-tier technical consulting or software development environment
Strong drive to solve customer problems and drive projects end to end from ideation to deployment
Balance of business and technology acumen, including ability to articulate high- level technical solutions to business problems and to tie your solutions to program success criteria
Capable of independently applying a wide set of engineering disciplines for planning, design, analysis, coding, testing, roll-out and support of information systems architectures.
Responsible for, or assists in, the designing of interface standards, quality assurance standards, performance standards, and cost-benefit analysis of modem state-of-the art information systems.
Analyzes available technologies and makes recommendations of technologies to use and how best to use them.
Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills, including ability to create clear observations, analysis and conclusions based on customer interviews and data
Outstanding communications skills both oral and written (e.g., PowerPoint)
Team player who can collaborate with multiple stakeholders to arrive at the best solution
High degree of intellectual curiosity and ability to learn and apply new concepts and technologies in a wide variety of marketing disciplines
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or comparable experience.
8 years’ experience combined in design, analysis, and implementation of information systems architecture.
7 years software development experience.
Microsoft Certification, Azure Cloud required
ServiceNow Architect Certified, preferred
US Citizen and ability to successfully complete a government issued background investigation.
Ability to obtain a Public Trust. Prior Public Trust or Security Clearance, preferred
Possess superior verbal and written communication skills; able to clearly convey complex technical and programmatic topics to diverse stakeholders.
Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities; able to turn ambiguous requirements into actionable plans.
Ability to motivate and guide technical teams, promoting collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
