CNC Machinist - Mills

Description

We have an immediate opening for a highly skilled, talented and experienced CNC machinist. Because we work almost exclusively in stainless steel, having experience with machining practices for this material is required. Our machining operation features exceptional capabilities including 3-4 axis CNC mills. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with engineers to transform their designs into high quality finished products.

Role and Responsibilities

• Read and understand blueprints
• Evaluate and comprehend engineering information provided
• Set-up, operate and manage CNC mill machines
• Use precision instruments such as micrometers, calipers and bore gauges to measure parts throughout the machining process to ensure conformity to specifications
• Oversee the machines while they execute the tasks and make the necessary adjustments such as offsets to produce the end product
• Check machinery on a daily basis to ensure they are functioning properly
