CNC Programmer DCNPG

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain CNC programs using Edgecam (or equivalent CAM software) for turning, milling, and multi-axis machining operations.
• Conduct time studies and implement process improvements to enhance machining efficiency and productivity.
• Manage tooling requirements, recommend tooling purchases, and ensure tooling availability for production.
• Prepare and maintain manufacturing route cards, process sheets, and production documentation.
• Provide technical support, coaching, and training to CNC operators and machinists.
• Support production planning activities and ensure programs, tooling, and resources are ready to meet production schedules.
• Act as backup to the Machine Shop Supervisor when required.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining compliance with Quality, HSE, and company standards.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Precision Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience with Edgecam (preferred) or similar CAM software.
• Strong knowledge of CNC Turning, Milling, and multi-axis machining processes.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and machining tolerances.
• Good understanding of cutting tools, machining parameters, and process optimization techniques.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Glovia is an advantage.
