SUMMARY
Responsible for the creation and revision of CNC programs, complete with tool, fixture, and set-up requirements, while adhering to Quality requirements and workmanship standards.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Must be a team player as measured by his/her peers
- Work with tooling suppliers to stay on the cutting edge of process and efficiency
- Develop tool test programs and implementation plans for improved manufacturing processes
- Develop ability to utilize software as necessary to facilitate the creation and management of Manufacturing Plans and machine programming
- Managing and maintaining program distribution to the shop floor per company policy.
- Work closely with QA department to develop operation and 1st piece inspection points and documentation
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- May review work for lower level programmers
