Coating Utility Operator (sandblaster)
Summary
Operates sandblasting equipment to clean and prepare coating tools/equipment in a manufacturing environment, adhering to safety and quality standards while handling radioactive materials.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Perform Sandblasting of coating equipment and tooling
Remove dirt, paint, grease, and other built-up material from surfaces.
Set up and operate a blast booth or similar equipment
Prepare evaporation materials and maintain the sandblasting area.
Perform all duties work instructions and standard procedures.

Education & Experience
Secondary education experience or 1 year of manufacturing experience
Candidates with NITEC certificate but without any working experience are welcome to apply
Skills
Able to pay attention to details, careful & thorough in work attitude.
Ability to perform machine set-up and simple troubleshooting
Work effectively with team members
Working Conditions
This role is 100% onsite
Comfortable to work in a clean room environment
High noise level and continuous standing and bending.
Some chemical exposure.
Willing to work 12hour rotating shift including weekend and public holiday.
- *PPE: Required to wear tight-fit respirator when necessary and safety rule.
- Handle radioactive material (ThF₄). NEA R1 license required.
