Tex Best Travel Centers in Uvalde is looking for a friendly, dependable Coffee Host / Barista to create a welcoming guest experience while preparing and serving high-quality coffee, espresso drinks, and light food items. This role combines hospitality, beverage preparation, cleanliness, and teamwork to help keep daily operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and create a warm, welcoming café environment.
• Take customer orders accurately and process payments.
• Prepare coffee, espresso, tea, and other beverages according to recipes and quality standards.
• Serve pastries, snacks, and other menu items in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked front counter, beverage station, and dining area.
• Operate espresso machines, grinders, brewers, and other café equipment safely and correctly.
• Answer customer questions, offer menu recommendations, and resolve basic service issues professionally.
• Complete opening, closing, and side-work tasks, including restocking, cleaning, and sanitizing.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and company service standards at all times.
• Work collaboratively with teammates to support smooth service during busy periods.
• Cross trained for varies positions.
