COFFEE SHOP CHEF

  1. Direct and participate in the preparation, seasoning, and cooking of Northwest Chinese cuisine, including Ramen, dumplings, and other related dishes.
  2. Plan and price menu items, order kitchen supplies, maintain accurate records and accounts, and monitor and control stock levels.
  3. Maintain and improve food quality, cost efficiency, and profit margins for the coffee shop.
  4. Assist in hiring, training, supervising, and, where necessary, terminating employees in accordance with company policies.
  5. Ensure that all food preparation and kitchen operations comply with relevant health, food hygiene, and safety standards.

Requirements

  1. Minimum 2 years of relevant Chef working experience.

  2. Able to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

  3. Able to work flexible shifts, including split shifts, according to operational requirements.

  4. Able to work on weekends and Public Holidays when required.

  5. Able to lead and supervise the kitchen team and take on team leadership and management responsibilities.
