COFFEE SHOP GENERAL CLEANER

Responsibilities

· Performgeneral cleaning and housekeeping duties within the coffee shop and food courtpremises.

· Cleanand maintain dining tables, chairs, floors, countertops and common areas.

· Clearused crockery, cutlery, food trays and other items from dining areas.

· Sweep,mop and remove spills, stains and rubbish to maintain cleanliness.

· Washand clean dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment when required.

· Cleanand sanitize food preparation areas, sinks and other designated areas.

· Collect,segregate and dispose of waste according to proper waste disposal procedures.

· Cleanand maintain toilets and common facilities to ensure proper hygiene standards.

· Replenishcleaning materials and maintain cleaning equipment in good condition.

· Ensurethe premises are clean and presentable for customers throughout operatinghours.

· Followworkplace hygiene, sanitation and safety procedures.

· Carryout other cleaning and housekeeping duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

· Previousexperience in cleaning, housekeeping or general cleaning duties is an advantagebut not mandatory.

· Basicknowledge of cleaning methods, sanitation and hygiene practices.

· Abilityto operate basic cleaning equipment and handle cleaning materials safely.

· Ableto perform routine cleaning tasks and maintain cleanliness standards.

· Physicallyfit to perform cleaning duties, including standing, bending and handlingcleaning equipment.

· Responsible,hardworking and able to follow instructions.

· Ableto work independently as well as in a team.

· Willingto work on weekends and public holidays.

· Willingto work flexible working hours according to operational requirements.

· Noformal educational qualification required.
