Key responsibilities
- Evaluate and diagnose patients with anorectal and intestinal disorders.
- Perform advanced surgical procedures including minimally invasive and open surgeries tailored to colorectal diseases.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with gastroenterologists, oncologists, and other specialists to ensure comprehensive patient management.
- Provide preoperative and postoperative care, monitoring patient recovery and managing complications.
- Educate patients about their conditions, treatment options, and preventive care.
- Maintain meticulous documentation and comply with healthcare standards and regulations.
- Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with evolving surgical techniques and medical knowledge.
Requirements
- Medical degree from an accredited institution with specialization in general surgery and further training in colorectal surgery.
- Board certification or equivalent in colorectal surgery.
- Valid medical license to practice in Abu Dhabi or the UAE.
- Proven experience in treating anorectal and intestinal disorders with expertise in advanced surgical interventions.
- Strong understanding of gastrointestinal anatomy, pathology, and surgical techniques.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
