Commercial Counsel - Partnerships
You will lead legal strategy for the partnership ecosystem, supporting ISV integrations, systems integrator alliances, reseller channels, marketplace agreements, embedded and OEM arrangements, and strategic partnerships. You will negotiate contracts, advise Partnerships, and build scalable templates, playbooks, workflows, and legal infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Own legal strategy and execution for the partnership ecosystem
- Draft, review, and negotiate partnership and enterprise customer agreements
- Serve as the primary legal partner to the Partnerships team
- Design and improve partnership templates, playbooks, approval workflows, and contracting infrastructure
- Provide practical commercial legal advice to cross-functional teams
- Contribute to scaling the Legal Team’s commercial function
- Build legal infrastructure for global partner motions
Requirements
- J.D.
- Active membership in at least one U.S. State Bar
- 7+ years of relevant post-qualification legal experience
- In-house experience in technology or SaaS preferred
- Experience supporting reseller, referral, MSP, OEM, embedded, white-label, and marketplace structures
- Experience negotiating with major systems integrators, consultancies, ISVs, and cloud platforms
- Experience drafting and negotiating technology and partnership agreements
- Knowledge of enterprise software licensing, SaaS, data protection, and intellectual property
- Experience designing and launching channel partner, reseller, or marketplace programs
