Commercial Finance Manager - UK&I and Nordics

  • Partner closely with Sales and Commercial teams to identify growth opportunities, challenge performance and support the development of commercially sound plans and investments.

  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making, including performance tracking, customer P&L analysis, promotional evaluation, forecasting and scenario modelling.

  • Support the evaluation and appraisal of commercial initiatives, ensuring investments are financially sound and aligned with business objectives.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, acting as a trusted finance partner and bringing a commercial perspective to business discussions.

  • Prepare clear and insightful financial reporting and presentations for senior stakeholders, translating complex analysis into actionable recommendations.

  • Support business reviews and planning cycles, ensuring high-quality analysis and timely delivery of financial information.

  • Collaborate across Finance and wider cross-functional teams to improve processes, strengthen financial understanding and drive continuous improvement.

  • Use technology, including Excel, Power BI and AI tools, to improve the efficiency and quality of analysis, reporting and decision-making.

  • 5–8 years of relevant commercial finance experience, ideally within an omni-channel branded FMCG environment, with experience working closely with Sales, Category, Marketing and RGM teams across UK&I and/or Nordics markets.

  • Strong commercial finance, business partnering and analytical skills, including performance and promotional evaluation, JBP, RGM and customer P&L analysis across multiple channels.

  • Strong financial modelling and Excel skills, with experience in P&L, NPV, payback, scenario and sensitivity analysis. Power BI experience and familiarity with AI tools are highly valued.

  • Strong communication, collaboration and influencing skills, with the ability to build effective relationships, gain stakeholder buy-in and present clear recommendations to senior management and customers.

  • Proactive and commercially minded, with strong ownership, planning and project management skills, attention to detail and a willingness to support and develop others.

  • Based in the UK and able to work from the Richmond, London office for meetings, business reviews and other activities requiring onsite presence.
