POSITION SUMMARY
The Commercial Truck Sales Representative is dedicated to expanding market share and driving revenue growth while fostering lasting customer relationships. This pivotal role entails overseeing the sales of retired trucks and trailers from PTR's extensive rental fleet. As a vital part of the Remarketing department, they play a key role in enhancing existing sales processes and strategies to successfully market used equipment to retail clients within a B2B framework.
COMPENSATION
This position has a competitive compensation package combining base salary plus commission.
HOURS
Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM ET (with some flex depending on territory time zone)
LOCATION
- Onsite- Fort Wayne, IN - 10% Travel Required for Meetings
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain meticulous documentation of sales activities and achievements using the CRM Salesforce, ensuring the seamless management of customer data daily.
- Utilize the Microsoft Office suite to promptly address customer inquiries and internal communications.
- Serve as a trusted resource for B2B customers, offering insights into our products and their potential applications.
- Collaborate in the development, implementation, and upkeep of dealership sales systems to enhance operational efficiency.
- Uphold PTR's customer-centric philosophy by promptly identifying and resolving customer issues.
- Cultivate and nurture relationships with both existing and prospective clients to drive loyalty and repeat business.
- Devise and execute innovative sales strategies aimed at maximizing revenue generation.
- Work closely with internal teams to uphold unparalleled customer satisfaction and product quality standards.
- Navigate negotiations and finalize contracts with customers, whether onsite or remotely.
- Strive to meet or surpass predefined sales targets and objectives.
- Provide regular updates on sales activities and progress to stakeholders.
REQUIREMENTS
MUST HAVE
- 3+ years of B2B sales experience.
- Proficiency in using CRMs like Salesforce or similar lead management software.
- High School Diploma/GED Required.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong negotiation and analytical acumen.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
- Ability to thrive both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience in a cradle-to-grave sales environment.
- Previous exposure to selling fleet or upfit trucks.
- Track record of success in B2B equipment sales.
- Industry experience specializing in light to medium-duty trucks.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
- Existing relationships and customer base in your market.
