Community Business Director-CBD

JOB PURPOSE:

Revenue Management and Accounts Receivable oversight for communities within region including billing and collection practices/guidelines ensuring timely and accurate billing, enforcement of collection practices/guidelines and compliant approval for revenue adjustments and bad debt write-offs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• P & L analysis and reporting responsibilities of each center's Business Office Managers as it relates to the center's financial cycles including billings and collections.
• Revenue Management and Accounts Receivable oversight for communities within region including billing and collection practices/guidelines ensuring timely and accurate billing, enforcement of collection practices/guidelines and compliant approval for revenue adjustments and bad debt write-offs.
• Set and monitor payer and facility focus areas, action plans and collection goals for communities.
• Review and comment on AR Collection Notes.
• Works with the independent auditors during annual audits to ensure adequacy of records.
• Provide training/reinforcement on all business cycles including Census management and A/R.Position Requirements
• Bachelors Degree in business, finance or accounting preferred.
• Experience in managing assisted living accounts receivable and billing system management
• 5 years supervisory experience
• Must be able to research and analyze various types of data
• Proficiency in Yardi and Excel
