As a Community Association Manager, you will serve as the primary management professional for a portfolio of homeowners and condominium associations.

Board Leadership & Community Governance

  • Serve as the primary advisor and liaison to Boards of Directors
  • Facilitate Board meetings and annual meetings
  • Assist Boards in understanding governing documents, policies, and operational responsibilities
  • Prepare agendas, management reports, and meeting materials
  • Partner with Board members to establish community goals, priorities, and action plans
  • Support committee initiatives and community projects

Financial Oversight & Budget Management

  • Review monthly financial reports and communicate key insights to Boards
  • Assist with annual budget preparation and planning
  • Monitor expenditures against approved budgets
  • Support reserve planning and capital improvement strategies
  • Review contracts, invoices, and project-related expenses
  • Assist Boards in making informed financial decisions

Community Operations

  • Oversee the day-to-day administration of assigned communities
  • Conduct routine property inspections and site visits
  • Monitor common area maintenance and vendor performance
  • Coordinate corrective actions and follow-up activities
  • Ensure compliance with governing documents and community standards
  • Maintain accurate community records and documentation

Project & Vendor Management

  • Manage community improvement projects from planning through completion
  • Solicit and evaluate vendor proposals and bids
  • Coordinate contractor activities and project timelines
  • Monitor project quality, communication, and budget adherence
  • Build and maintain strong vendor relationships
  • Hold vendors accountable for contract performance and service expectations

Homeowner Relations & Customer Experience

  • Respond to homeowner inquiries and concerns professionally and promptly
  • Facilitate conflict resolution and problem-solving when appropriate
  • Communicate community initiatives, updates, and policy changes
  • Deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment
  • Maintain positive relationships with residents, Board members, and stakeholders

Communication & Relationship Management

  • Draft professional correspondence, reports, and community communications
  • Coordinate homeowner notices, mailings, and announcements
  • Use community management systems and technology platforms
  • Communicate effectively with homeowners, Board members, vendors, internal departments, and leadership teams
  • Build trust through transparency, follow-through, and accountability

Risk Management & Compliance

  • Identify operational and community risks
  • Support insurance, legal, and compliance processes as needed
  • Ensure required notices, disclosures, and documentation are completed accurately
  • Coordinate with legal counsel, vendors, and Board leadership when appropriate
  • Promote proactive problem-solving to minimize risk and liability

Minimum Salary: $75,000 (based on experience)
