Community & Social Media Manager
You will engage with players across social and community channels, develop content and engagement plans, and run community events aligned with in-game and marketing activity. You will monitor player sentiment, maintain a consistent tone of voice, publish written and live content, moderate channels, and manage volunteer moderators. You will support livestreams and AMAs, analyse results, prepare reports, and help execute the overall communication strategy.
Responsibilities
- Engage actively with the community as the voice of the studio
- Develop community-engagement strategies and content plans
- Plan, execute, and report on community events and activities
- Provide feedback on community sentiment to grow and retain players
- Maintain the reputation and tone of voice for Pixion and its games
- Inform and engage players across social channels and respond to their input
- Create and publish content for social media and community channels
- Moderate community channels and manage volunteer moderators, rewards, and applications
- Support and moderate livestreams, AMAs, and other live content
- Define community goals, analyse results, and prepare improvement reports
- Collaborate on the general communication strategy
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in community, social media, or public communication
- 2+ years of experience in game development or the Web3 industry
- Experience preparing and supporting product communities through major updates
- Understanding of community development and management
- Knowledge of growing and maintaining social media and community channels, especially X and Discord
- Experience with Discord server management, functions, security, and infrastructure
- Writing and editing experience for articles, blog posts, and other copy
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
- Analytical and reporting skills
- Experience creating new initiatives and managing multiple tasks with little supervision
