We're now looking for a curious, proactive and collaborative Compliance Analyst to join our Payroll Governance & Compliance team.
About the role:
This is a unique opportunity to work within a globally focused team that supports payroll governance activities across Australia, the UK, US, Germany, Singapore, Fiji and PNG. Working closely with the Head of Payroll Governance & Compliance, you'll play a key role in identifying risks, strengthening controls and driving continuous improvement across payroll processes and compliance frameworks.
- Conduct payroll governance and compliance reviews across Australian and global payroll operations, identifying risks, documenting findings and supporting remediation activities.
- Support payroll controls, audits and risk management activities, including ongoing monitoring, testing and alignment to regulatory and risk framework requirements.
- Partner with stakeholders across the business, including BCM, to provide governance guidance, compliance support, trusted subject matter expertise to strengthen payroll outcomes and test and document risk controls.
- Drive continuous improvement through process enhancements, knowledge sharing, training and collaboration, helping build capability across the broader Payroll team
About you
We're looking for someone who is naturally curious, enjoys understanding the "why" behind processes and isn't afraid to ask questions. You'll bring a genuine willingness to take ownership, use initiative and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team.
- Experience in compliance, risk, governance, payroll, audit or a related operational environment, ideally within a regulated framework.
- Strong analytical skills and a natural curiosity to investigate issues, understand root causes and identify practical solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to ask questions, challenge constructively and build trusted relationships.
- A proactive, can-do mindset with the ability to work independently, use initiative and contribute to a collaborative team culture; payroll experience is advantageous but not essential.
