About the role
WRN Health Incorporated is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Computer Programmer to join our dynamic development team. This is a full-time position based in Davao City, Davao del Sur. As a Computer Programmer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining software applications that support our healthcare operations and digital transformation initiatives. You will work on a variety of programming projects, contributing to the technical excellence and innovation that drives WRN Health Incorporated forward.
Key responsibilities
Develop, test, and maintain software applications and programs using various programming languages and development tools
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that meets industry standards and company guidelines
Collaborate with software engineers, system architects, and business analysts to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Debug and troubleshoot software issues, identifying and resolving defects in a timely manner
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to ensure code quality and consistency
Contribute to the design and implementation of new features and enhancements to existing software systems
Maintain and update technical documentation for developed applications and systems
Support deployment and implementation of software solutions in production environments
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software solutions align with business objectives
What we're looking for
A diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field
Proven experience as a Computer Programmer or Software Developer with at least 1-3 years of professional development experience
Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, C++, or similar object-oriented languages
Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices
Experience with version control systems such as Git and familiarity with collaborative development workflows
Knowledge of relational databases and SQL, with experience in database design and query optimisation
Familiarity with software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work through complex technical challenges
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality code
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
Preferred: Experience with web development frameworks, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), or healthcare IT systems
Preferred: Knowledge of software testing frameworks and test-driven development practices
