Do you speak fluent French and are looking for a new opportunity in Portugal?
We are recruiting French-speaking customer support consultants for an international car rental project in Porto. You will work in the modern Porto Office Park, supporting customers throughout their rental journey, assisting with bookings, changes, and general inquiries.
The position offers a Monday-Friday schedule with weekends off, making it a great fit for candidates seeking an international customer service role with regular weekdays.
Your Day-to-Day Role
You will be the point of contact for French-speaking customers before, during, and after their car rental.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Supporting customers via phone, email and messaging
• Assisting with new bookings and changes to existing bookings
• Answering questions about vehicles, rentals and available services
• Explaining different rental options and helping customers find the most suitable solution
• Resolving customer inquiries efficiently and professionally
• Updating booking and customer information in internal systems
• Routing more complex cases to the appropriate specialist department
• Ensuring customers receive friendly, accurate and helpful support throughout their rental experience
What We Need
We are looking for candidates with:
• French at C1 level
• English at B2 level
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• A friendly, professional and solution-focused approach
• Confidence in using computers and learning new systems
• Availability to work on-site in Porto
• Availability for rotating shifts between 07:00 and 18:00, Monday to Friday
• EU citizenship or a valid residence visa with full work rights in Portugal
Candidates must already have the legal right to Work in Portugal. Visa sponsorship or work permit is not available for this opportunity.
Working Hours
This is a full-time position, based at the Porto Office Park office.
• Monday to Friday
• Rotating shifts between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM
• 8 hours per day / 40 hours per week
• Weekends off
Salary and Meal Allowance
You can choose between two salary payment structures:
• €1,000 gross/month × 14 payments
or
• approximately €1,167 gross/month × 12 payments
In addition, you will receive a meal allowance of €7.63 net per working day, equivalent to approximately €167.86 per month based on 22 working days.
The meal allowance is paid separately via a meal card.
