CONSTRUCTION MANAGER

Roles & Responsibilities :

Collaborate with engineers, architects and the with the team to determine the specifications of the project.
Responsible for preparing project start-up and execution plan, as well as to define key project targets in terms of time, cost, quality, and resources.
Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements.
Lead a team of technical staff in planning and execution of day-to-day operations to achieve all key project targets.
Liaise with and manage Subcontractors to deliver their respective performance targets in terms of time, cost,quality, and safety.
Hire contractors and other staff and allocate responsibilities.
Supervise the work of laborers, and give them guidance when needed on Project base.
Assist the Project Director in tendering proposals to secure new projects.
Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports.
Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues.

Requirements and skills:-

Degree in Building/ Civil or Electrical Engineering/ Construction Management or related / Any degree.
Proven experience as construction project manager.
In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles.
Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
A team player with leadership abilities.
