Construction Operative

Job Description

We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Construction Operative to support daily construction activities at project sites. The successful candidate will assist in general construction works, ensure a safe working environment, and work closely with supervisors and other site personnel to complete assigned tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general construction and manual labour works at construction sites.
• Load, unload, transport, and arrange construction materials, tools, and equipment.
• Assist skilled workers with construction, installation, repair, and maintenance activities.
• Carry out site preparation, cleaning, and housekeeping duties.
• Operate basic hand tools and equipment safely.
• Follow instructions from the Site Supervisor or Foreman.
• Comply with workplace safety regulations and company policies.
• Perform other site-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Physically fit and able to perform manual work in a construction environment.
• Willing to work outdoors and at different project locations.
• Able to follow safety procedures and work instructions.
• Responsible, punctual, and a good team player.
• Previous construction experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
