Summary

Oversee building projects in Singapore, coordinating teams and ensuring compliance with regulations and budgets using project management tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, manage, and supervise construction projects from commencement to completion.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
  • Prepare and monitor project schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
  • Ensure all works comply with project specifications, contract requirements, and Singapore building regulations.
  • Lead site meetings and coordinate project activities to resolve technical and operational issues.
  • Monitor site productivity, quality of work, and project costs.
  • Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and company safety policies.
  • Review and approve work schedules, method statements, and risk assessments.
  • Manage project documentation, progress claims, variation orders, and subcontractor performance.
  • Liaise with relevant authorities for inspections and statutory approvals.
  • Identify project risks and implement appropriate mitigation measures.
  • Lead and motivate the project team to achieve project objectives.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in construction project management in Singapore.
  • Strong knowledge of local construction practices, BCA regulations, and WSH requirements.
  • Experience managing building, renovation, upgrading, or A&A projects will be an advantage.
  • Good leadership, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and project scheduling software (Microsoft Project or Primavera is an advantage).
  • Possession of BCSS, Supervise Construction Work for WSH, or other relevant certifications will be an advantage.
  • Class 3 Driving Licence is preferred but not mandatory.
