Responsibilities
- Assess and manage patients with a range of gastrointestinal disorders, providing accurate diagnoses and treatment.
- Conduct endoscopic and other advanced gastroenterological procedures safely and effectively.
- Devise individualized management plans integrating current best practices.
- Educate patients and families regarding gastrointestinal health, disease prevention, and treatment options.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Maintain detailed clinical documentation adhering to professional and regulatory standards.
- Engage in clinical research and contribute to academic and quality improvement initiatives.
- Support and mentor junior clinicians and healthcare staff.
Requirements
- Medical degree with completion of residency training in gastroenterology.
- Board certification in gastroenterology is mandatory.
- Current and valid medical license to practice.
- Minimum of 5 years clinical experience in gastroenterology.
- Strong skills in endoscopic and gastroenterological procedures.
- Excellent clinical reasoning and decision-making abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment.
