Consultant Gastroenterologist

We are seeking a passionate and experienced consultant gastroenterologist to join our professional medical team. This role involves diagnosing and managing a variety of complex gastrointestinal disorders, performing specialized procedures, and contributing to the holistic well-being of our patients.
The successful candidate will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, engage in clinical research, and provide expert advice and treatment plans. You will be a key player in ensuring high standards of care and advancing our gastroenterology services.
Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with gastrointestinal diseases and conditions.
- Perform endoscopic and other diagnostic/therapeutic procedures safely and effectively.
- Develop individualized patient treatment plans aligned with best practices.
- Educate patients and their families about gastrointestinal health and preventive measures.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate patient records in line with regulatory requirements.
- Participate in research and continuous professional development activities.
- Mentor junior medical staff and contribute to the department’s knowledge base.
Requirements
- Medical degree with a specialization in gastroenterology
- Board certification in gastroenterology required
- Valid medical license to practice
- Minimum of 5 years’ clinical experience in gastroenterology
- Proficient in advanced endoscopic and diagnostic procedures
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
- Commitment to ongoing education and research in the field
