Responsibilities

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans
• Provide clear communication and education to patients and families regarding surgeries and recovery processes
• Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and keep updated with latest surgical advancements
• Maintain detailed and accurate medical records

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from a recognized institution
• Completion of general surgery residency training
• Board certification or equivalent credential in general surgery
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a consultant general surgeon
• Proficiency in a wide range of general surgical procedures
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practices
• Fluency in English; additional language skills advantageous
