As a Consultant Neurologist in the private healthcare sector, you will be responsible for providing exceptional clinical care to patients with a wide range of neurological conditions. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver tailored treatment plans and contribute to advancing neurological services.

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive neurological assessments and evaluations of patients
  • Order, review, and interpret diagnostic tests including MRI, CT scans, and EEGs
  • Diagnose and manage neurological disorders such as epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, migraines, and neurodegenerative diseases
  • Develop personalized treatment plans in alignment with best practice standards
  • Engage with patients and their families to provide education and support throughout the care journey
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including neurosurgeons, physiotherapists, and primary care providers
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to clinical governance activities

Requirements

  • Medical degree (M.D. or equivalent) with Board Certification in Neurology
  • Completion of accredited Neurology residency or equivalent training
  • Proven clinical experience as a Consultant Neurologist, preferably within the private healthcare sector
  • Strong knowledge of neurological diagnostic and treatment procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient and team interactions
  • Ability to develop individualized care plans and manage complex cases
  • Commitment to high-quality patient care and ethical medical practices
  • Familiarity with private healthcare operational standards and patient confidentiality regulations
  • Proactive approach to continuous professional development and research
