We are seeking an experienced consultant orthopaedic surgeon to join our healthcare team. This position involves diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with musculoskeletal disorders through both surgical and non-surgical techniques. The ideal candidate will demonstrate clinical excellence, leadership abilities, and a commitment to delivering compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments including history taking, clinical examinations, and interpretation of diagnostic imaging.
  • Develop and implement tailored treatment plans utilizing both conservative and surgical interventions.
  • Conduct orthopedic surgeries such as joint replacements, arthroscopic procedures, fracture management, and trauma care.
  • Provide postoperative care and coordinate rehabilitation programs to enhance patient recovery.
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams including physiotherapists, nurses, and other specialists.
  • Educate patients and families about conditions, treatment options, and preventive care.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and stay updated with advances in orthopaedic surgery.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with healthcare standards and regulations.

Requirements

  • Medical degree (M.D. or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
  • Completed residency training in orthopaedic surgery.
  • Board certification as an orthopaedic surgeon.
  • Minimum of 5 years post-residency experience in orthopaedic surgery.
  • Proven expertise in a range of orthopaedic surgical procedures.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills are advantageous.
  • Strong commitment to professional ethics, patient safety, and quality care.
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing education and clinical research.
