Position: Consultant SAP PM/CS

Employment Type: Full-Time

Work Location: Chennai Office, WFO

Role Purpose

Lead the functional design, configuration, implementation, and optimization of SAP PM/CS modules. The role drives operational efficiency through structured system configuration, process redesign, SAP rollouts, and sustained post-go-live support. This position acts as a functional bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure scalable, compliant, and performance-driven ERP solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Functional Design & Process Optimization • Analyze business requirements and identify system-driven improvements. • Design organization structures and process flows aligned with PM/CS best practices. • Develop functional solution blueprints for enhancements and new rollouts. Deliverable: Optimized ERP process design

2. System Configuration & Implementation • Configure SAP PM/CS modules in line with business and compliance needs. • Prepare functional specifications for developments and enhancements. • Conduct internal testing, unit testing, and integration testing with users. Deliverable: Configured and validated ERP system

3. Documentation & Governance • Develop business blueprints, functional specifications, process flow diagrams, and user manuals. • Ensure documentation aligns with audit and governance standards. Deliverable: ERP documentation repository

4. Issue Resolution & Support • Troubleshoot user issues and implement functional corrections. • Provide continuous system support and performance stabilization.

Deliverable: ERP support and resolution logs

5. Data Migration & Cutover Management • Lead master data preparation and migration activities. • Prepare templates, validate user data, and execute data uploads. • Support cutover strategy and go-live readiness. Deliverable: Clean migrated data & go-live readiness

6. Go-Live & Hypercare Support • Manage go-live activities and coordinate cross-functional teams. • Provide hypercare support to ensure smooth stabilization. • Fine-tune configurations based on operational feedback.

Deliverable: Stabilized production environment

Experience & Qualifications Experience:

• 4 to 6 yrs in SAP functional roles • Proven implementation experience in SAP PM/CS Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline Certification: Not mandatory; SAP PM/CS certification preferred Technical Competencies • Strong hands-on expertise in SAP PM/CS configuration • Functional specification development • Data migration and cutover management • Testing (Unit, Integration, UAT) • Understanding of integration touchpoints across ERP modules Added Advantage: Advanced knowledge of SAP S/4HANA PM/CS
