Description

Voy is a healthcare platform led by clinicians. We support people managing long-term health conditions with treatment plans backed by real evidence.

Founded in 2018, we started as MANUAL, focusing on hair loss, weight loss and men’s health. As we grew, we realised we could help more people. In 2025, we became Voy and expanded into more areas of health, including female hair loss, testosterone, menopause, dermatology and diagnostics with Do Health.

Today, Voy has around 750,000 active customers and has treated more than 2 million people since we began. We work across the UK, Germany, Brazil and India to make a new future of healthcare a reality. We’re approaching $1bn in ARR and have grown more than 100% year on year, every year since inception. At Voy, we let the evidence do the talking. In a published study of over 100,000 people, those who reached 12 months in the Voy programme and stayed engaged lost up to 24% of their body weight.

Our vision is simple: to make 100 years of healthy living within reach for everybody. Our mission is to bring quality care to everyone, at scale.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Consumer PR Manager to build our in-house consumer PR capability from the ground up, making Voy famous across consumer affairs, health and wellness media. You’ll own the stories that bring our patients, people and expertise to life, using patient experiences, proprietary data and cultural moments to create compelling narratives that earn national press coverage. Working alongside our corporate communications agency, you’ll have the autonomy to shape how millions of people perceive Voy, strengthen our reputation as a trusted healthcare provider and demonstrate the commercial impact of PR.

What you’ll do

  • Build a bank of compelling patient case studies across weight loss, hair loss, testosterone and menopause, securing consent and ensuring every story is handled ethically and responsibly.
  • Mine Voy’s patient, customer and outcomes data to uncover newsworthy insights and develop data-led stories that secure meaningful consumer press coverage.
  • Leverage your network of consumer affairs, health and wellness journalists to pitch and place human-interest stories across national and consumer media.
  • Identify opportunities to newsjack cultural moments and emerging trends, positioning Voy and its experts at the centre of relevant conversations.
  • Partner with our corporate communications agency to identify consumer angles within corporate news and ensure stories reach the right audiences through the right channels.
  • Work closely with medical, legal and compliance teams to ensure all communications meet relevant regulatory requirements, including ASA, MHRA and GPhC standards.
  • Own monthly PR reporting and analytics, tracking coverage, share of voice, message pull-through, backlinks and referral traffic to understand performance and opportunities for improvement.
  • Refine our PR strategy using data and insights, demonstrating the commercial impact of coverage while managing external partners and prioritising activity across multiple brands.

Who you are

  • You’re an experienced PR professional with at least six years of experience, including a strong track record in healthcare, consumer health or wellness communications.
  • You’re a compelling storyteller who knows how to turn complex healthcare topics, patient experiences and proprietary data into distinctive, newsworthy narratives.
  • You’re well-connected within consumer affairs, health and wellness media, with an established network of journalists and demonstrable experience securing national and consumer press coverage.
  • You’re data-driven and commercially minded, with experience mining company data to uncover compelling consumer insights and translating them into earned media opportunities.
  • You’re analytical and results-oriented, comfortable using media monitoring, coverage tracking and web analytics tools to measure performance and demonstrate PR’s impact.
  • You’re culturally curious, with a strong understanding of popular culture and the ability to spot and capitalise on timely newsjacking opportunities.
  • You’re confident navigating regulated or sensitive categories, exercising sound judgement around patient consent, ethical storytelling and healthcare communications compliance.
  • You’re a proactive owner who can influence senior stakeholders, collaborate across medical, legal and commercial teams, and manage freelancers or agency partners in a fast-paced, multi-brand environment.
